Automatic Subtitles
Sub-Zero has not been maintained since 2021 so I wouldn't consider that a good source.

Plex - movie subtitles in sub-folder - possible?
I did find a post, 3 years ago, in the Emby forum that this person did manage to have Subtitles in plex and they were in their own folder by using Subzero. However, the Subzero Plugin states:
-
Can You Still Get The Sub Zero Subtitle Plug-In to Work for Plex?
It should, but you need to use Kitana to actually interface with it.

Hey guys, I've been looking to build a media project that mimics a broadcast TV channel for personal use. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
There have been a number of attempts to modernize it, like this one: https://github.com/DEFENDORe/pseudotv

Something similar to DizqueTV
One of there early builds of pseudotv only worked on Plex playlists and would update the playlist after a certain amount of time. Any playlists in your Plex library with a "Summary" starting with "pseudotv" would be added as a channel. Worked pretty decent with Plex's smart playlist feature. https://github.com/DEFENDORe/pseudotv/tree/ff808b419e0d65c08234bbe91547658946ba6d95
