Weirdest chain of events after blue screen Win 11
What I've done before this happened: 1. Updated Windows to latest build (which is again asking me to since I restored to previous restoration point). 2. Installed "SoundSwitch" to switch with hotkeys between different sound outputs.

Do people EQ speakers?
https://soundswitch.aaflalo.me/ can also come in handy. It can make switching sound outputs much easier (again, a key combo can toggle between several outputs).

Seamless switching between headphones and PC speakers?
I use SoundSwitch for switching between mt Steeleseries and speakers. I really like my headphones but find it extremely annoying they can't have a normal aux out so could just use a cable splitter. It is the reason I will never buy another set.

blue yeti nano
If that doesn't work look at your Sounds/Recording settings and make sure the mic is the default input device. Then (IIRC the nano also has audio passthrough) if you are 'monitoring' or using the sound card in your mic for output make sure it is the default Playback device. I suggest using a free utility that will let you toggle through between your default outputs and recording devices with a keyboard shortcut called SoundSwitch, so you don't have to go into your sounds control panel to change default devices.

Latest insider preview took away fundamental functions
I think you're looking for FanControl https://github.com/Rem0o/FanControl.Releases There is a bit of initial setup but nothing crazy, and it guides you through with a nice and clean UI. Once you're in, you can set your fan curve and all the smaller details if you want, like how long will the fans take to spin up or spin down, or how long to delay a speed change after hitting a certain temperature threshold so that its not constantly revving up and down

New build advice
You could even replace all the fans with Noctua nf a12s and control using this and still have saved money: https://github.com/Rem0o/FanControl.Releases

Recently built a PC and it was dead silent for the first few weeks, but a couple days ago it started producing this low humming/buzzing sound. Any idea what could be causing this?
MSI Afterburner should work for gpu fans. Motherboards typically have their own version of software for fan control, so you could use that (dl from mfg website), or there's this one that I know of that should work for any mobo (although there's probably others): https://github.com/Rem0o/FanControl.Releases
