I’m begging you.
Step 4: Real Solar System. This is the bread and butter of KSP RSSRO. Download the newest release here: https://github.com/KSP-RO/RealSolarSystem/releases/tag/v18.1.4. Once you have done this, download the latest RSS textures (right here https://github.com/KSP-RO/RSS-Textures/releases/tag/v18.3) and pick one of the options. What you pick is dependent on your ram. If you have 16 gb or more and a powerful processor, the 16384 (16k) should be fine. If you have 8, I would suggest the 2048. If you have 16 gb but a lower end processor, I'd get the 8k or 4k textures respectively. I like 8k, it works well for my i5 6600k. Move the folder included (RSS-Textures) to the GameData folder. After that, you should be good.

My fastest propeller plane *yet*
You're using JNSQ? Your ground seems oversaturated. You can grab the colorfix.cfg from here and put it somewhere in GameData to fix it.
-
the ground is not supposed to be this colour, i'm pretty sure this was a scansat bug but I cant find any posts like this. help please?
Go to the Kopernicus release page and download ColorFix.cfg. Put it in GameData somewhere. See if this fixes your issue.

kopernicus isnt working
I'm not an expert but I'll tell you what I can. You have a thing called KSP-AVC which is complaining a lot. Also your version of Sigma Dimensions is old, I believe. I think the current one comes in a folder called SigmaDimensions, so you'd need to delete the old folder completely. That's complaining, too. Also, annoyingly, Kopernicus seems to always show 1.0 in logs, but hopefully you are using the version here: https://github.com/Kopernicus/Kopernicus/releases

How do i put in my custom planet into KSP?
The most stable and used way is the mod kopernicus. Take a look at the kopernicus repo, I also believe the mod has some example files for planets.

Just finished my first playthrough of vanilla career mode, what mods next?

I have some problems with mods
Most mods that edit the Kerbol System (or substitute it with another system) require Kopernicus. (Not all of them do, please go check for the specific mod you are installing.)
