PlexKodiConnect VS plex-for-kodi

I used to do that, now I use Plex (running in a docker container on a machine under my stairs) and the Plex Kodi Connect (PKC) to sync my Kodi database to my Plex database. Best of both worlds

That being said, there are other client apps for Android: you can try Kodi, and use this plugin: https://github.com/croneter/PlexKodiConnect to use it as a Plex client. It is definitely much faster than the Plex app, and the setup while intimidating, is actually simple.

In the mean time. there is no solution other than to use a different client. If you're on Android, do what I do forget about the official app and use Kodi with PlexKodiConnect, Composite or the semi-maintained Offical Plex Add-on for Kodi.
