Having troubles running RPI Pico in vscode with pico-go and micropy-cli
I already tried pico-go which worked fine, but I found out that I cannot import my own libraries (i get an error that the library doesn't exist) even though the documentation here in section Pylance shows that it indeed should work. I wanted to report the issue, but on the github, a post from the author says that support for pico-go is basically halted, although the author is searching for someone to either take over the project or at least maintain it.

Nice work, gives me very Micro Machines vibes for the NES. The only thing I don't like about PICO-8 is that its completely closed source. An open source alternative that seems very promising is Pyxel. It has similar retro / pixel art limitations, a built-in sprite editor, music tracker, etc.

Is PyGame worth using?
It's fine. You might also enjoy working with Pyxel, which is a little more pixellated and fun and not exactly "classically production ready" either. (I mean, games like Papers, Please could be programmed in Pygame, but that's about it).
