So I ordered my Open Xenium for my 1.6b... Anyone got any good diagrams for the proper points for the LPC restoring?
Here you go https://github.com/Ryzee119/OpenXenium/blob/master/INSTALLATION.md Ryzee119's github for the OpenXenium. I've done a manual rebuild and used a board. If picking up a rebuild board, pre-tin all the points on the board before soldering it to the mobo. If not, you'll likely have a bad time.

R.I.P childhood
This is fixable. OpenXenium + IDE to Sata adapter + Hard Drive is all that is needed. Not only will that get it working, but it will also be a massive upgrade to storage size and features available.

Ebay find. Looks like it's time to do some soldering.
Thankfully these boards are open source and readily available! https://github.com/Ryzee119/OpenXenium

Dead hard drive, modchip necessary?
If you have an Arduino or Pi, you can do that using the following tools: https://github.com/grimdoomer/PiPROM https://github.com/Ryzee119/ArduinoProm

I have monged my Xbox!
Hmm 🤔 that’s stupid to start, you should never touch the hdd key or edit in the on the fly, just lock it with the key of the eeprom.. but if you lock it with config magic I believe there is a master key don’t remember what it was.. never needed it. You have a mod chip so you should be able to boot from any hdd that’s not locked. So maybe you could unlock the drive using a pc and the master key for the hdd.. hope you made a baxku of your eeprom.bin so you can correct your eeprom. You maybe need to flash the eeprom via piprom or Arduinoprom

Hey guys, can you please tell me if I can extract the xbox EEPROM for hdd key with this ft232rl tool? And which pins should I connect to the motherboard?
Eeprom can read and write using i2c port. https://github.com/Ryzee119/ArduinoProm

Is it possible to use PiProm with a raspberry pi pico?
like the title says, I'm wondering if it's possible to install PiProm on a rpi pico. I saw on the wiki that you can use pi models 1, 1B+, 2B, 3B, Zero-W and Banana Pi and that ArduinoProm is a thing, but haven't been able to find anything about using a pi pico.

Can you transplant a hard drive?
If you don't have a raspberry Pi you could also use ArduinoProm which uses an arduino instead (this is what I use because I do not own a raspberry Pi)

There is any way to softmod the xbox without any of the games?
These days you don’t need a PC hooked up to a serial port EEPROM reader, you can just use an $1 Arduino (using Ryzee’s ArduinoProm) or even better, an ESP8266 (using dx4m’s amazing and aptly-named Xbox-EEPROM-Utility) board to read it.

Chipped Halo Xbox Blinks, No Video. Help!
its surprisingly happens randomly. usually after saving a new setting to the xbox. Its easy to fix if you have a Pro micro (arduino) or a rasberry Pi. ArduinoProm Or PiPROM will allow you to connect to the motherboards lpc pin header (i use dupont jumpers to do this) and reflash a backup or new eeprom.
What are some alternatives?
When comparing OpenXenium and ArduinoProm you can also consider the following projects:
