Please, help me.
Then tried to install 'Bento' startpage (not a startpage user, so a first here)... decided to go for what looked like the simpler option and install 'Bento' as a 'New Tab Page' using author's recommended 'Custom New Tab Page' extension... from which point the 'howto' instructions are slim to nonexistent... and although tried several different options... no joy... no 'Bento' startpage could be made to appear... sigh. :(

Bringing attention to the potential of Firefoxโs customisation
There are generally 3 types of start pages ones that have add-ons, simple html sites ("demos") and self hosted start pages. Installing the add ons should be simple and can be applied to both your homepage/new tab.

How to edit the shortcuts of any startpage
I'm just gonna assume that you are referring to migueravila/Bento's repo. Best tip for working with any Github Project is to thoroughly read through the README.md file. Reading through it we can find the Buttons & Links Section. There they specify to change the config.js of which there is only one in the repo. This file seems to have all the configuration settings we can possibly change. Things like your name, the background image, and greetings. But once you come across the firstButtonsContainer object this seems to store all links for your shortcuts. Here you should be able to modify the name, icon and link to show what you'd like. You will of course need to do this on whatever local repo you are using to serve your webpage.

My Startpage!
Miguel's Bento seemed to be the best fit for me after trying a few different startpages. I added a list that shows the most recent free games from r/FreeGameFindings and converted the bottom buttons to a listing.

Is there a UK WiFi smart plug that can work on LAN without any app/cloud/smart assistants?
I simply want to turn a printer on/off from an existing web dashboard (https://github.com/lissy93/dashy) entirely within my own LAN - no apps, no smart assistants, no cloud. I see things like TP-Link Tapo but they want an app and cloud services. Does a product like this exist? Could I reflash something with an free/open OS like Tasmota?
