What I’ve implemented is Keycloak federated with Active Directory, along with Dashy as the SSO portal component of that. Dashy allows login through keycloak and assigned applications based on Keycloak group/roles. You can configure the Dashy portal to use the links of the SSO login endpoint of the application so it’s an immediate login to the application. Role based access control in Keycloak authentication flows are what controls user access to applications.
