Forsens law confirmed real
Editing the .jar file to send a seed would usually be very difficult but is probably possible due to the efforts of MCP-Reborn although this would probably be detectable in the log files. Editing memory on runtime would only be possible if Minecraft had no memory protection.

Does MCP work with forge or only with some changes or not at all?
I have just finished my first ever text written mod using mcp, it was super simple and broke the game (changing sin and cos around in the code) and I have gotten it to work with the regular minecraft launcher however I wasn’t able to test if it works with forge. I want to use it with forge so I can troll some of my friends on their smp while still having litematica enabled at the same time. Just for clarification, I am using MCP reborn (https://github.com/Hexeption/MCP-Reborn) so I don’t know if this changes anything from the old MCP. Thanks for any help

Yes, it’s real, and it’s what Forge was based on from the very beginning. a1.1.2 - 1.12.2: https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Programs_and_editors/Mod_Coder_Pack 1.13 - modern day: https://github.com/Hexeption/MCP-Reborn

Does anyone has any idea of how to make Shadow Items in 1.18
I have no clue how item shadowing in 1.18 is possible but if you want to have a look at the source code you could try MCP Reborn which even allows you to modify the code and run it easily, though not all variables are deobfuscated. You can also use the official obfuscation mappings to manually decompile Minecraft (wiki article or use DecompilerMC to automate that task (with this method afaik nothing is obfuscated but there is no function to run the code. It would probably be quite easy to port the gradle tasks from MCP reborn or create your own but I’m not a Java dev so I’m not sure)

Which decompiler to use so that there is no such crap? | Minecraft 1.18?
MCP Reborn - Mod Coders Pack for newer versions of Minecraft. Currently supports 1.13-1.18

Recently I've released the first version of my Real-Time Strategy mod. Here are still many things to improve, but you can try it already! Download link in comments
I can't open the source code because of the same issue My current implementation depends on the Microsoft official obfuscation mappings. I can't reveal the source code that I got with this mappings without violating a license. Notice about it you can find here: https://github.com/Hexeption/MCP-Reborn/blob/1.18/MCP-License So this mod is closed source until I can decouple it from official Minecraft code.

I used MCP-reborn to generate the code. https://github.com/Hexeption/MCP-Reborn

I'm a code digger , ask me to do anything
Honestly the way I learned is just downloading the code (https://github.com/hube12/DecompilerMC or https://github.com/QuiltMC/quilt-mappings are probably the best ways right now) and poking around until I found what I was looking for.

Where could I learn more about Minecraft mechanics?
this tool for code with mojang mappings(no parameter names): https://github.com/hube12/DecompilerMC

Tuinity just announced it is being shut down and all of its changes are being merged into paper
You can use DecompilerMC to decompile the latest versions and MCP to decompile older versions. Minecraft's code is definitely a giant mess of spaghetti, although maybe not as bad as it used to be.

Where do I find the source code for pistons?
If you do wanna look at mc code though, you can use DecompilerMC, or just download the fabric example mod and run the genSources gradle task

If you do wanna deobfuscate and decompile it tho, look into yarn or DecompilerMC

2) Use this, it uses mojang mappings https://github.com/hube12/DecompilerMC 3) Use mcp-reborn (mcpconfig) which use modcoderpack mappings https://github.com/Hexeption/MCP-Reborn
