IshinFix VS dxwrapper

IshinFix adds them both into a single patch.

Seemed like a really weird thing to overlook when the previous games handled it without a problem, and I'd hypothesize and say that it's due to Unreal Engine being involved (and it's Steamworks API inclusion not being updated in three years). There was a mod called IshinFix that's still being used for unofficial ultrawide support (and FPS unlocked cutscenes) that also let you force PS prompts regardless if SteamInput is being used, but I'm glad that Sega actually listened and patched it in. That's still better than the support a lot of Japanese developers give their PC ports post-launch.

I hope brawler does a BIT more damage? Lyall already fixed ultra wide and 60fps cutscene on PC. I was expecting that from RGG than some fan stepping up to do it.

there's a patch that uncaps the 30 fps cutscenes. Unfortunately, Karaoke is forever stuck at 30fps cuz it's prerendered. It also removes the black bars if you have an ultra wide display.

Then, download this and place the files inside the game directory (C:\Program Files\Maxis\SimCity Classic).

There's also dxwrapper that implements old DirectDraw/3D interfaces with newer D3D9 api for better compatibility with newer Windows versions:

FYI: The Space Bar re-release features Elisha Riedlinger's DxWrapper (https://github.com/elishacloud/dxwrapper), whose config file is otherwise stock with just FullScreen enabled. I strongly believe they didn't properly test it.

RTX Remix uses a custom d3d9.dll though so you additionally need another wrapper such as https://github.com/elishacloud/dxwrapper to customize which dll should be loaded since by default d3d8to9 uses the default system file which will result in translated calls not being redirected to the path tracer used by Remix.
