Yeah, that would be the way to do it. I don't know off the top of my head what fields are supported or how to add them properly, but if you go to the project page for the module you can browse all the source code. And you do roll attacks, but there are other modules like Better Rolls 5e that do the heavy lifting, and Token Action HUD plays nice with BR5e. If you want to roll multiattack, I usually just mash the attack button X times, which doesn't exactly take very long.

betterr rolls is broken from 5e 1.2 afaik, here there's a temporary fix https://github.com/RedReign/FoundryVTT-BetterRolls5e/issues/175
