FYSETC VORON 2.4 V2.4 350mm Kit Inventory (will be my first Voron kit)
I posted a ton of pics of what I received over on my blog, to show the inventory of the kit (I wasn't paid or given anything to review the kit btw). When I was considering buying it, I was trying to find where somebody had reviewed the same kit, and found nothing recent, so I thought posting the inventory could be helpful. Of course it's just a data point, since I'm sure there could be changes in the future (the BOM is generic enough in ways to allow that), but it still may be worthwhile for anyone about to buy the same kit. I won't post the direct link to the kit on AliE since the rules say that could cause the post to get yanked, but the kit is linked through the blog post. I was using the v1.3 of the BOM as my checklist, and everything was accounted for, minus maybe a a couple of likely extra M5 screws (some of the screws are separated in the main screw kit, and another for the bed assembly). I am planning to build this as an R2 (with a Rapido + Stealthburner). I am also upgrading the screws to stainless, and have bought new ball bearing fans for the hot end (the included fans are all sleeve bearing). I've not had time to check over the rails, only the inventory is done for now. But my first impression is that overall it seems like a good kit, but it will be my first, so I guess I will find out.

My current Voron Mess: 95% assembled 2.4, and a Trident kit still in box that I struggle with finding time for.
There's some infos and a BOM of what exactly is in their kit on their github, here's the V2 one : https://github.com/FYSETC/FYSETC-Voron-2

Fysetc voron 2.4 kit review
I would have to take the bed off the frame which I really don’t want to do. It’s unbranded and has minimal marking. I’ve included the GitHub BOM link that says it wired in GitHub BOM

Got a loot box! Do I still get a kit now??
I built a 300, and I can see the bi-metal extrusion warping without gantry backers that seems to be the biggest concern with going larger. (https://github.com/tanaes/whopping_Voron_mods/tree/main/extrusion_backers)

- Voron 2.4r2 upgrades are in. Upgrading the gantry, replacing some parts with freshly printed ASA and adding some bling!
- We seem to be comparing Prusa XL to Bambu X1 a lot. So here is a detailed comparison, assuming Prusa delivers on their promises.

2nd layer is not squished down enough
Insufficient heat soaking. As the chamber warms up the frame members deflect from thermal expansion, causing the toolhead to rise. In my experience you need a good hour or so with the doors closed for temperatures to stabilize enough, on a stock build. Putting backers on the Y rail extrusions can mitigate this as well: https://github.com/tanaes/whopping_Voron_mods/tree/main/extrusion_backers
