Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Vampiric stuff
If that one doesn't work for you, try the GMC Community Mod Compilation, that's where I was able to find the mod at all, since googling didn't show up a lot of results and it works for me. I managed to encounter a vampire and all, even if I had some weird errors at times.

Collision issues in pokecrystal
I'm using polished map to create the maps. For everything else, a good old text editor.

Take a look at the pokeyellow disassembly. You can edit maps with Polished Map and everything else can be done with a text editor.
for editing the unmodified pokemon crystal base game, use polished map with the pokecrystal decomp.
