ColorControl process triggers don't work. Anyone have them working properly?
I'm trying to get ColorControl to adjust settings based on the game I'm playing. For example, any game that has in game HDR, I want to disable Dynamic Tone Mapping and enable HGIG. Does anyone know how to make it work? For call of duty for example, i have the trigger set to process switch, and then in included processes, I have tried several things, none of which work. i've tried cod. cod.exe. This is the only place I've seen it mentioned but none of the suggestions from the guide are working. Anyone have this working on their end? I'm using an LG C1 btw.

Is this dimming normal? LG C3 42"
You don't need a special controller, just download the Color Control app and make sure the TV is on the same network as the PC running the software, you can to into the service menu under the advanced section.

Yet another thread about dynamic tone mapping on or off on LG C2 when watching HDR / Dolby Vision content
I guess preferably I would want to disable ASBL for when I'm watching shows like House of the Dragon sitting one meter from TV in completely dark room in headphones in cinema mode, and enable it back when I'm casually watching some youtube at daytime or browsing something else. Watching color accurate content is going to be limited for night time and an hour a day max, I wouldn't want ASBL disabled completely but I would want it disabled for that particular time. Just found an app might try if it really works and allows disabling asbl over network without the service remote https://github.com/Maassoft/ColorControl

- I heard the 42" C2 has very low brightness in PC mode, is this also true of the 65"? Do you "need" to be in PC mode when using a PC or can you use "game mode" in another picture mode?

I had to do it.
Take a look at TranslucentTB. It makes your taskbar see through. Your icons are still there like normal, but the white bar itself is gone. This makes any desktop look way better imo.

Is there a way to show the taskbar in full screen by moving the mouse down to the bottom of the screen?

[LPT Request] I’m finally getting (my own) PC. What are some essential useful apps and browser extensions?
For aesthetics, I like Wallpaper Engine (4$), Rainmeter, and TranslucentTaskbar most.
