ColorControl VS BetterClearTypeTuner

I'm trying to get ColorControl to adjust settings based on the game I'm playing. For example, any game that has in game HDR, I want to disable Dynamic Tone Mapping and enable HGIG. Does anyone know how to make it work? For call of duty for example, i have the trigger set to process switch, and then in included processes, I have tried several things, none of which work. i've tried cod. cod.exe. This is the only place I've seen it mentioned but none of the suggestions from the guide are working. Anyone have this working on their end? I'm using an LG C1 btw.

You don't need a special controller, just download the Color Control app and make sure the TV is on the same network as the PC running the software, you can to into the service menu under the advanced section.

I guess preferably I would want to disable ASBL for when I'm watching shows like House of the Dragon sitting one meter from TV in completely dark room in headphones in cinema mode, and enable it back when I'm casually watching some youtube at daytime or browsing something else. Watching color accurate content is going to be limited for night time and an hour a day max, I wouldn't want ASBL disabled completely but I would want it disabled for that particular time. I have the 48" C2 and there are issues with text clarity at lower scaling (even 125%). I used Better ClearType Tuner to switch the antialiasing to grayscale and make it look better.

I've owned the older sibling AW3423DW monitor since late last summer and have used the Better Clear Type Tuner tool since Day 1 to increase the text contrast.

The monitor is the most affordable 1440p high refresh rate IPS monitor that shouldn't be terrible, but if you want a safer option that is more well-reviewed, the (Acer Nitro XV272U Vbmiiprx)[https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/phH7YJ/acer-nitro-xv272u-vbmiiprx-270-2560x1440-170-hz-monitor-xv272u-vbmiiprx] is rated quite highly by Rtings (I believe they are the same model, though I might be wrong). The Gigabyte M27Q would be a very good option and even has a built in KVM, but this is the original M27Q which has some text clarity issues due to unusual subpixel layout (though MacType and Better Cleartype Tuner seem to help to resolve this issue).
