Lg c2 42" text clarity vs gigabyte m32u
I have the 48" C2 and there are issues with text clarity at lower scaling (even 125%). I used Better ClearType Tuner to switch the antialiasing to grayscale and make it look better.

Even games from 15 years ago are outstanding on OLED! I enjoy playing games again <3
but the text on my AQDM looks better, use the greyscale anti aliasing with BetterClearTypeTuner https://github.com/bp2008/BetterClearTypeTuner

Thin fonts are not readable
If it helps I've used Better ClearType Tuner in the past to get the text on my display looking just like I want it. https://github.com/bp2008/BetterClearTypeTuner
- Upgraded from the AW3418DW to AW3423DW OLED. I wish I saw the warnings about the magenta color fringing because it is BAD. It's very noticeable at normal viewing distance and makes edges have a magenta hue, especially bad for white on black text.

Anyone have any success getting MacOs like text rendering on Windows 11?

Choose your compromise
You tried this tool rtings recommend? https://github.com/bp2008/BetterClearTypeTuner "improves text clarity significantly, and the subpixel structure isn't noticeable with Font Antialiasing set to 'RGB' and Contrast set between 1800-2200, as shown here, but make sure you have access to run the program as an administrator for it to work"

[Monitor] Refurbished QD-OLED Alienware Gaming Monitor - AW3423DWF - $654.49 (Coupon Code: 686815AW3)
I've owned the older sibling AW3423DW monitor since late last summer and have used the Better Clear Type Tuner tool since Day 1 to increase the text contrast.

Seeking advice on rapid replacement for bricked laptop
The monitor is the most affordable 1440p high refresh rate IPS monitor that shouldn't be terrible, but if you want a safer option that is more well-reviewed, the (Acer Nitro XV272U Vbmiiprx)[https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/phH7YJ/acer-nitro-xv272u-vbmiiprx-270-2560x1440-170-hz-monitor-xv272u-vbmiiprx] is rated quite highly by Rtings (I believe they are the same model, though I might be wrong). The Gigabyte M27Q would be a very good option and even has a built in KVM, but this is the original M27Q which has some text clarity issues due to unusual subpixel layout (though MacType and Better Cleartype Tuner seem to help to resolve this issue).

Great tool, thanks for sharing. If you are open to suggestions, I would love to have spellcheck in it.

Is there global autocorrect for linux?
I don't know of a "global" function, but what you use depends largely on where you're doing your writing. It's possible to spellcheck markdown and html files from a terminal with aspell and to find the correct spelling of partial words with look. Some apps, like Grammarcheck can offer you close to global spellcheck. Apps like LanguageTool offer browser addons to check grammar and spelling.

Your privacy is optional
LanguageTool - I liked using Grammarly to check my writing, but it is not great for privacy considering it sends off everything you write to Grammarly servers. LanguageTool is a great open source alternative that you can run locally.
