Help making EQ-APO/AutoEQ profile from speaker frequency bar graph
I'm trying to follow this general process of EQing laptop speakers, which cites the AutoEQ Github wiki for digitizing a frequency response graph and converting it to CSV. The OP references converting the graphical data from an A-weighted scale to the dB scale, as well as interpolating more data points on their 20-frequency graph. Even without worrying about interpolation, I tried to follow the Github guide and just got hopelessly lost.

I made an equalizer in order to hear footsteps
what u can do do is go here https://github.com/jaakkopasanen/AutoEq/tree/master/results, pick and download the file for ur headphone and add it in APO equalizer as a second "graphic equalizer with variable bands" that will correct the first EQ with a curve made for ur headphone

Sundaras w/Atom+ stack the right call?
Parametric EQ apps for Android can be googled, I use PowerAmp. The Qudelix takes care of all of that with its app to the point where you can load from a giant list of EQ sets they made from community data - Not all of it is accurate, better to go to the source. You can find EQ presets on the oratory1990 subreddit, Amir’s reviews for that particular headphone on Audiosciencereview and crinacle’s as well as rtings here: https://github.com/jaakkopasanen/AutoEq/blob/master/results/INDEX.md

My first setup
I always recommended hearing before buying, but I'm assuming you can't try many in person so use AutoEQ to get an idea what you like - https://github.com/jaakkopasanen/AutoEq

Best EQ for Mac 2023
https://rogueamoeba.com/soundsource/ (this has parametric EQ but it's a bit buried IIRC. It also has built-in support for AutoEQ according to this page so you might have to do almost nothing if you like the Harman curve)

How import wavelet preset to Equalizer APO?
For auto-eq try one of the followiing: https://github.com/iwalton3/AutoEq/tree/master/results_ief_with_bass or https://github.com/jaakkopasanen/AutoEq#usage . For the second part you can easily add that by using graphics equalizer option in eqAPO. For auto-eq easiest way is to download the wave file of matching bit rate and use convolution filter.

On ear headphones for sleeping
Go with a wireless earbud. Should provide most comfort. Wires get tangled up during sleep. And tweak it using autoEq profiles here: https://github.com/iwalton3/AutoEq/tree/master/results_ief_with_bass. My policy for daily beater is something that I can live with replacing. What I would do is decide on a price range first and find few that interests you. Then look up frequency behavior that is most compliant with IEF Neutral Target provided. The less you have to tweak to sound natural mastering environment the better off you are. The site will give you options for implementing tweaks based on platform. Happy hunting!

gaming headsets
Here is a super budget setup I have. I use $5 Panasonic RP-HJE120 or RP-HJE125 with equalizer APO to correct the frequency behavior using autoEq from https://github.com/iwalton3/AutoEq/tree/master/results_ief_with_bass. I prefer In-ear Neutral target over Harman for whatever reason. Then I do some tweaking for Bass and Treble with appropriate reverb depending on situation using free VST: https://www.meldaproduction.com/MConvolutionEZ. And since I want surround. I use Dolby Atmos for headphones. You can use Windows Sonic for free or something like HeSuvi for eqAPO. On top of that for those 2.0 and 5.1 sound sources, I use upmixing using: https://sourceforge.net/projects/stereo-to-7-1-converter/ with rounded 3D scene. for 5.1 to 7.1 is somewhat unnecessary but if you are a nerd like me you can use: https://github.com/Dogway/emulation-random/blob/master/EqualizerAPO/Surround/Dolby_Digital_5.1_(7.1_augmented).txt.txt). Honestly, for the price and as a daily beater I can roll around in bed with and sometimes break, I love it. I do have more expensive earbuds/sets but honestly after all this, I only break those out for special occasions.

Hi! Sorry I'm new here but how would I set this up. Corsair Virtuoso. I don't know what this is or how to set it up
Those presets are for tweaking the sound source, not at all related to the characteristics of your headphone. I tend to think of two different eq, one for the source and the other for my headphone. For headphone look for oratory1990 results or Harman/IENeutral Autoeq profiles. https://www.reddit.com/r/oratory1990/wiki/index/list_of_presets/, https://github.com/jaakkopasanen/AutoEq#usage and https://github.com/iwalton3/AutoEq.
