FSRS: A modern, efficient spaced repetition algorithm
Yes, but on Android you currently have to sideload the 2.17 alpha from this page: https://github.com/ankidroid/Anki-Android/releases

When is Ankidroid releasing 2.17? I can’t try FSRS because they haven’t release to Playstore
But you can just download the testing version from the links to github on the site. https://github.com/ankidroid/Anki-Android/releases
- FSRS for AnkiDroid is out! (2.17alpha2)
- Is there a old version of anki apk that notification still work?
-
In the 1st anniversary of FSRS, I want to share some progress of recent works.
Good news again, AnkiDroid has completed its Rust backend update. FSRS will be supported in AnkiDroid in 2.17.

Spending Less Time per Card but More Time on Anki
I'm using Anki for language learning and a while back I thought about decreasing the amount of time I spend on a card with the add-on Speed Focus Mode. My idea was by decreasing the time spent per card, I'd go through more cards in the same amount of time. I went from 30s per card to 12s for front AND back).

Experiment with Gamification Elements
I don't usually actively search for gamification add-ons for Anki, but I think some extensions I use currently express some aspect of gamification: 1. Review Heatmap visually shows the amount of days where you reviewed & didn't review Anki. It serves as a progress bar and motivator to continue to do daily reviews. However, I don't know how long you plan to run your experiment for: if it's only for a few days then it may not be a very strong motivator. 2. Speed Focus Mode caps the amount of time you can spend recalling a card to a user-specified amount, and auto-flips the card after the time limit. This add-on significantly changes the way that I review Anki. When using this add-on, I find myself being more willing to accept that I forgot something, as I'm motivated by the timer to just put out an answer by the time limit, even if said answer is wrong. When using this addon, you may have challenges knowing what time limit to set on the cards, however, depending on how complex the cards are. I usually have to spend much more time on my japanese cards than english vocabulary cards, for example, to recall something.
- Is it possible to make Anki automatically fail a card and display the next card after a certain number of seconds? (Or do you know of another tool that can do this?)
-
Does anyone experience a change in pace/cocnentration while anking on the phone?
"Speed Focus Mode" add-on may help you about that :)

Speed indicator for creating cards
Is there an add-on (like Speed Focus Mode (https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/1046608507)) that allows me to see my 'card creating speed'? I want something that can signal me that I am creating enough cards in a given interval of time.
