Spending Less Time per Card but More Time on Anki
I'm using Anki for language learning and a while back I thought about decreasing the amount of time I spend on a card with the add-on Speed Focus Mode. My idea was by decreasing the time spent per card, I'd go through more cards in the same amount of time. I went from 30s per card to 12s for front AND back).

Experiment with Gamification Elements
I don't usually actively search for gamification add-ons for Anki, but I think some extensions I use currently express some aspect of gamification: 1. Review Heatmap visually shows the amount of days where you reviewed & didn't review Anki. It serves as a progress bar and motivator to continue to do daily reviews. However, I don't know how long you plan to run your experiment for: if it's only for a few days then it may not be a very strong motivator. 2. Speed Focus Mode caps the amount of time you can spend recalling a card to a user-specified amount, and auto-flips the card after the time limit. This add-on significantly changes the way that I review Anki. When using this add-on, I find myself being more willing to accept that I forgot something, as I'm motivated by the timer to just put out an answer by the time limit, even if said answer is wrong. When using this addon, you may have challenges knowing what time limit to set on the cards, however, depending on how complex the cards are. I usually have to spend much more time on my japanese cards than english vocabulary cards, for example, to recall something.
- Is it possible to make Anki automatically fail a card and display the next card after a certain number of seconds? (Or do you know of another tool that can do this?)

Does anyone experience a change in pace/cocnentration while anking on the phone?
"Speed Focus Mode" add-on may help you about that :)

Speed indicator for creating cards
Is there an add-on (like Speed Focus Mode (https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/1046608507)) that allows me to see my 'card creating speed'? I want something that can signal me that I am creating enough cards in a given interval of time.

Glutanimate's Progress Bar Add-on + Review Speed + Time Left for main menu & review screen (Anki 2.1.49)!
Hello, this is my first "add-on" (which isn't really by me since I just tweaked/merged Glutanimate's Progress Bar add-on with Carlos Duarte's More Decks Stats and Time Left add-on.). I basically got the progress bar to work on 2.1.49, as well as added statistics for cards left, percentage left, time (s) spent per card based on today's reviews, and time left based on how fast you've done today's reviews.

One or more errors occurred: 2091361802: Invalid code, or add-on not available for your version of Anki.
I'm currently running Version 2.1.44 (b2b3275f) and have been trying to install Glutanimate's progress bar addon. I tried installing it manually by uploading the progress_bar file and while it worked, I was unable to configure any settings (the configuration field button is disabled). Any workaround? Thank you.

Gamification elements in Anki: the Progress Bar add-on - anybody can update it as it's not working anymore?
Still in progress, but almost there. You can check out the tasks I'm working on at the moment here. Haven't published any releases on any platforms just yet.

ProgressBarTimeLeft - Hello, this is my first "add-on" (which isn't really by me since I just tweaked/merged Glutanimate's Progress Bar add-on with Carlos Duarte's More Decks Stats and Time Left add-on.). I basically got the progress bar to work on 2.1.49, as well as added statistics for cards left, percentage left, time (s) spent per card based on today's reviews, and time left based on how fast you've done today's reviews. Note: it says studied 637 cards in 1.36 hours today (7.67 s/card) but that's not reflected in the progress bar because I did those reviews on iPad. Also, the progress bar only tracts reviews in your current anki session. If you restart the app, it'll reset to 0 cards done (but the total cards left will be less already). I have not tested this on any other version besides 2.1.49, but I just wanted to share it since it took me a while to get this working and I'm very proud of it (and am hugely thankful to Glutanimate and Mr. Duarte). Installation: Unzip them and paste them in C:\%APPDA
