Create a new library for Anime or keep within TV library?
I have my TV library pointed at /media/tv obviously, and the anime shows are "loose" in there. I read that the ordering and stuff can be different, and it has been when i've used Sonarr, but then I found this: https://github.com/Dingmatt/AMSA Plex Anime Multi-source Agent, and thought I could create a new library.

- PleX not reading my files correctly and then having the audacity to tell me I need to rename MY files is ridiculous and makes not want to get premium

Plex is combining Justice League with Ultimate Spider-Man.. there's also Teen Titans in some seasons. Anime also has this problem. it combined all Yu-Gi-Oh series into Arc 5 and spread out every episode through each season..
I liked Plex for the better handling of IPTV but their anime SUCKS at figuring out what stuff is, I even name it by TVDB and it failed horribly. Emby, I only have to edit a few titles here and there. With Plex you need to get your own anime agent https://github.com/Dingmatt/AMSA

How do your organize your anime?
I rename my files with filebot using anidb metadata. In Plex I have anime multi source agent (amsa) with absolute series scanner (ass). Read their example. It's fairly straightforward. https://github.com/Dingmatt/AMSA
- anime episode/special not available in any database except anidb.net
- plex anime library bulk update and mantain anime genre from MAL
- Plex not loading all episode names

Getting YouTube-Agent to link description and video thumbnails to Plex
I have Plex linked to ZeroQI's YouTube-Agent.bundle and ZeroQI's Absolute Series Scanner.
- I have two versions of the show Friends, one the DVD version, the other Blu-ray. They have different cuts so I want to keep them separate.

Artwork / Posters to Personal Videos?
you have to use "Absolute Series Scanner" with "Youtube Series" agent. Both of them are available on GitHub.

Help setting up metadata for One Piece? I've used FileBot to rename the episodes, and put them into their respective season folders by Arc according to TMDB, but Plex still refuses to organize them in any way i can conceivably understand. Somehow season 1 has 160 episodes? Help!
You need something like https://github.com/ZeroQI/Absolute-Series-Scanner

Anime and absolute ordering
jokes aside, as why to it might be a hit and miss with the ordering using hama: afaik when the anime only has one season info is being pulled from anidb, as where to when it has multiple it pulls from tvdb by default. im not the biggest fan of absolute ordering but where i did it (naruto and bleach for example) it does work. ASS has a table on how to force it.

I don't want to move from TheTVDB , how do i remove this notification?
If you have an Anime library, you really need to be using HAMA/ASS.
- Getting Youtube Videos in Plex is a PITA
