PSA: If you get unusually low FPS (unplayable) in CSGO and source engine games and you have nvidia GPU, update your drivers!
It is into the epoch, he cited the wrong thing, the -6 is the pkgrel and usually those are bumped when there is a need to update the package but there is no update from upstream and here is the commit that caused the update https://github.com/archlinux/svntogit-packages/commit/eae486c62b53ca804572b204801d98dff0091bbd#diff-3e341d2d9c67be01819b25b25d5e53ea3cdf3a38d28846cda85a195eb9b7203a which clearly says the it was due to the kernel update. So your psa is barely researched and bullshit.

Arch wiki says bumblebee has performance issues
OK but the nvidia-prime package has nothing to do with X11 configurations. It just installs the script prime-run which is a helper to set 3 env vars to offload programs to Nvidia dGPU.

SVG Icons won't render
Do you also have librsvg installed? That package seems to provide both the GdkPixbuf-integration and also the gobject-introspection: https://github.com/archlinux/svntogit-packages/blob/72d85e1a6a3ba68700671437ecfaa25736005d70/trunk/PKGBUILD#L12-L13

Cannot start games depending on OpenGL
Mesa was updated a few days ago, so if it was working before all that, i suppose you could try a downgrade to 20.3.1(and to lib32-mesa as well): https://github.com/archlinux/svntogit-packages/commits/packages/mesa/trunk
