Sharing an alias
From my understanding, that is not possible as of now. Instead, you can use an alias service like Simplelogin to automatically forward emails to both accounts.
-
Guys help me decide how to organise custom domain aliases on email...
I think you're looking for https://simplelogin.io/, it might be of use; as for the domains you could group them or you can alias them and forward them, I'd recommend checking out simple login, you can self host it too

When activating semi-anonymous phone should I use e-mail attached to my identity?
This is what I do, I'm using SimpleLogin with 2 custom domains to manage my email aliases that separated as personal and services (whatever it is that requires an email address). Except for password manager and domain registrar, I created an alias each for both of them in my email provider. So far only my email provider and SimpleLogin who knows my actual email address and I am sure it will stay that way.

A privacy-conscious frequent traveler's question: to self-host on a portable server or a VPS?
a service like SimpleLogin, where mails delivered to aliases are kept on their servers for 7 days if repeated attempts to forward an email to the main email isn't successful.
- I just found this cool app/extension that forwards your emails using an alias. It’s open source and uses encryption and 2FA!

Is their any way to find how many accounts are linked to my email address?
You can setup auto forward from Gmail to anywhere and there's an option to not keep incoming emails in Gmail inbox. I use this method to forward anything to my email alias.

For those using one, how would you rate the difficulty of setting up a self-hosted e-mail server?
Instead of fully hosting myself, i have a VM on AWS that runs https://github.com/simple-login/app and then forwards emails to my gmail. Then when i reply to those emails, it appears to be coming from my simple login alias as well. It's a great app
