Can Superdisplay stay connected when I want to switch to other apps for a while?
It seems that I can't keep Superdisplay to stay connected during switching apps. So I use https://github.com/manutalcual/winredock to automatically rearrange my working windows after reconnecting Superdisplay. Not a perfect and seamless solution though

LG 27GN950 Deep Sleep Problems
I just found this application https://github.com/manutalcual/winredock which as soon as a monitor disconnects it remembers all window positions, then when the monitor reconnects it restores the windows. It works totally fine for me and actually removes some of the trouble i was having with this.

Remember Window Position
I'm really sorry this doesn't actually answer your question but https://github.com/manutalcual/winredock works for Windows and is a starting point to help you search for linux: https://askubuntu.com/questions/411503/is-there-a-dynamic-multiple-monitor-friendly-desktop-environment-available-for-u https://groups.google.com/g/xdotool-users/c/ns-pHfwQErc/discussion?pli=1 will help but force you to run shell scripts manually. I'm pretty sure you can build something to detect if you're docked or not which can run the shell scripts. https://www.reddit.com/r/kde/comments/9ijm5z/multi_monitors_remember_the_window_position/ works for KDE.
