AI Computer Interface (ACI)
Hi Hacker News,
What do you think about "AI-Computer Interface"?
Let me explain a bit. "Human-computer interface (HCI)", was first developed around WWII. Since then it evolved so much and today we have very sophisticated and intuitive interfaces.
It's the AI era, and there are so many projects and products trying to automate various tasks that humans are doing. However, main approach is to try to adapt their LLM-based products to current HCI, which is developed for humans, not LLMs. This approach actually works with some workaround, such as taking screenshots to understand what actions are available, etc.
Example project: https://github.com/OpenInterpreter/open-interpreter
I wonder if creating UI specifically for LLMs/AIs instead of adapting LLMs into human-friendly UI can make it possible to achieve more efficient automation processes.
Do you know any of such projects or products?
Happy holidays!

In a leaked recording, Amazon cloud chief tells that devs could stop coding soon
try https://github.com/OpenInterpreter/open-interpreter. sysadmin experience is worth a lot less. I've been admining Linux systems for over two decades, but I give LLMs a shot at dealing with some stupid Unix shit so I don't have to. it won't get 100% of the problems, but I can ask it to fix the mess made of, say, my system SSL certificate authorities, and it won't judge me for saying SSL and not TLS and it'll go off and try the first couple of fixes it basically the same way I would, saving me time while I work on something else.

OpenAI is building its local app to subvert the permission system of the web
This seems like something anyone can already do with interpreter? [0]
Jumping from CLI to GUI for the masses would be quite easy if you ask me.

Sys Admins and AI
http://openinterpreter.com when I don't want to do things by hand. it's not for the faint of heart, but I can just ask it to do things like go deal with my vim config and it'll go off and do it.

LaVague: Open-source Large Action Model to automate Selenium browsing
I think openinterpreter [1] were one of the first teams in this space along with shroominic code interpreter api and afaik they started with selenium but have expanded to do a lot more os level work but wonder if having a more narrow specialization could help these newer projects be better at the one thing they are focused on.
