Not correctly switching between iGPU and discrete gpu
Sometimes, certain application uses dGPU so MUX Switch/Nvidia has problem switching. By resetting the graphic card [WIN+Ctrl+Shift+B] or using nvidia-optimus-kill [https://github.com/eduojeda/nvidia-optimus-kill], you'll be able to close the applications using dGPU and make sure it properly switches. I use this, but it doesn't always switch as intended.

Then in Nvidia Control Panel, click Desktop > Display GPU activity in the notification area . This adds a small icon in the bottom right of the desktop. If anything appears in the icon's list, the Nvidia GPU won't be able to sleep. Follow these instructions to get those apps running on the AMD GPU. You could also try Optimus Kill, though I've had mixed success with it.
