  You're going to want to look into Brickstore. It's what most Bricklink sellers use to manipulate their inventories. You can import a Bricklink .xml file and do various things to quickly gauge the value of your collection. Namely, you can set the price of everything to the 6 month sales average and then look at the overall value of everything. This is much quicker than flipping between Brickset and Bricklink and adding everything up manually.
