How 3D printer works
In general, we need to configure SPI to use SD card. But we are using mega2560, we can use the SD Library for Arduino. The only thing we need to do is find which pin is the CS (chip select) pin in schematic and call SD.begin(csPin) function in setup function.

I don't get it. How do I find out what functions a library contains?
Open your Arduino libraries folder, choose a library subfolder, then open its src folder. In there is one or more header files (ie: somelibrary.h) listing the exported functions. For example, the SD arduino library: https://github.com/arduino-libraries/SD/blob/master/src/SD.h

RP2040 and SPI sd card
Yep, found that it was defining it twice which the pre-processor doesn't like, there was a fix here on github. But now it compiles but the SD is still not detected : ( . Any ideas why? I think it has something to do with SPI pin definitions since it is a Tiny 2040. I've redefined it in the SD lib and the rp2040 board location (common.h) but no luck.
