Once you've got the hang of markdown, the next thing is to write the draft for your blog. Although you can use the built-in editor that DEV provides, most people prefer to write their blogs on Google Docs or VS Code. You can also use dedicated note-taking apps like Notion which supports markdown as well.

    dev.to | 2021-05-06
Zsh is a popular UNIX shell used by many Linux and macOS users around the globe. It's even more powerful when you use it with a configuration framework like Oh my zsh and a fantastic template like Powerline10k. So, we set up our new shiny shell, everything works great in our terminal. Time to write some code. We run Visual Studio Code, open a built-in terminal and... something is not right. What happened to our beautiful template? Where are our sexy icons?

Have you tried VS Code? It's like Notepad++ 3.0 with plugins that have functionality similar to what you want. It's all the rage these days among web developers but it does so much more. It also has some sweet shortcuts for rapidly editing multiple lines of code and whatnot. Definitely check it out, I'm in love.
