Can LOS 20 run banking apps/google pay?
As others noted: it depends on the apps you'd like to use. I can recommend installing Magisk, enabling Hide, setting the Zygisk blacklist for the problematic apps and installing these modules - https://github.com/kdrag0n/safetynet-fix - https://github.com/Magisk-Modules-Repo/MagiskHidePropsConf

Another guide to get microg + magisk + safetynet all working no problem on vanilla(no google) roms
I did say that the rom should pass safetynet with normal gapps You can't pass safetynet because the rom fingerprint is the problem to fix this you gotta use a module called "magiskhide props conf" https://github.com/Magisk-Modules-Repo/MagiskHidePropsConf

Google Wallet/Pay complains about rooted device despite SafetyNet Attention Checker showing everything is fine.
I previously had Google Wallet/Pay working on my Nokia 6.1 with Lineage OS 18. Due to my phone running out of space, I made a factory reset and installed Lineage OS 19.1 on my phone. To hide root, I did the following steps: 1. Installed the latest Magisk 2. Installed the latest Universal SafetyNet Fix 3. Installed the latest MagiskHide Props Config 4. Run props and choose a fingerprint 5. Checked with YASNAC that checks are passing 6. Cleared cache of all my banking apps, Google Wallet, Google Play service and Google Play
