Getting Pantheon to run -- a brief guide for crazy people who don't mind jank
Then you're gonna need to install dialog with pacman -S dialog and follow the instructions to get the HADRIAN script from this Github page. This is a script for Arch that downloads and installs the latest version of Pantheon, LightDM, the elementary greeter, and does all the basic setup for you. Pick the options you want (I did all of them because I actually like the default elementary apps), go through the installer, and when you're done you'll be back to the CLI, where you want to reboot.

[rice | Pantheon] one of these things is not like the others
I use this script from Github from a fresh EOS install (Base + Devel, no DE through the installer). Just pick all the options you want -- obviously if you don't pick something it won't work -- and you're mostly off to the races. Everything works except the switchboard-plug-mouse-touchpad which, would you believe, is the settings panel for mouse and touchpad. You need to git clone that and edit the meson_options.txt file to say option('gnome_40', type : 'boolean', value : true) (it defaults to false which makes it crash when opened). Just follow the build instructions on its page once you've done that edit.

Pantheon in Arch?
I've made a Pantheon install script for arch linux here. It installs perfectly atleast on a VM. I'm the only one who've tried it so far, so there's a chance it won't work for you out of the box.
