  • lutris

    Lutris desktop client

  • nobara is a amazing distro and is based on fedora with a custom kernel tweaks applied. it has a auto install driver for nvidia users and fedora runs gnome (the desktop environment) which is very user friendly and i would say in my opinion has the best ui/ux design. also has a bunch of apps preinstalled for you like editing tools and obs-studio. make sure if you wanna get the lowest latency on the linux distro, you choose x11 so if you choose nobara then you go on the login screen and there is a setting wheel to change it to x11/xorg since nvidia doesn't have everything working on wayland, even tho wayland is ok if you don't care about forced vsync and some apps misbehaving like discord because those run through xwayland. if you want something let say built of off ubuntu then pop os is nice and vanilla os aswell but that is still in development. games run onpare or better then on windows, with dxvk and vkd3d and proton making games run better the only thing is anticheat software stopping you from playing some games like rainbow six and destiny 2 are the few i can think of. if your gonna use apps like blizzard, origin, epic games then we have a bunch of launchers that do the job lutris bottles heroic game launcher. i use bottles which creates basically a fake wine environment and you can install your game launchers and play your games like overwatch and stuff

  • HeroicGamesLauncher
