Okay, one question I saw at Google was, in 15 minutes write a Fibonacci sequence in python, and make sure it's clean code. Then, we need you to do it in javascript. Oh, and you have to write it out on the whiteboard in front of us, without using a computer. This was a trick question, but if you didn't do it, you wouldn't advance to the following interview. Most companies want Junior Devs to already have 3 years of experience in whatever language they use the most. And a few senior devs don't want to be bothered with junior devs during code reviews. Not every company will train junior devs to how they want it done if you don't have 3 years minimum of experience. And coming out of school, BootCamp, or any other online lessons, won't give that much experience. Find out what a few companies that use developers use as their go-to language, libraries, etc., then work on them. Go online to github.com and look for open-source projects and find their bug list and try and fix them. When you do, contact someone about a pull request and let them test your bug fix. This gives a great deal of experience that most companies will look at for your portfolio. Out of the last 10 companies, open-source work has hired about 1/3 of the developers.
