How do I get `Shrink Empty Lines` in vscode

Shrink Empty Lines is a Visual Studio extension that does just that. It shrinks empty lines by 25% vertically. I looked around but there are no vscode equivalence. Discussion on vscode's GitHub Let Extensions Change Line Height was closed because the vscode team did not plan to support it. I suppose that means implementing something like Shrink Empty Lines in vscode via extensions is impossible.
