  • Custom-Resolution-Utility-ToastyX

Custom Resolution Utility for Windows by ToastyX, duplicated so the source won't be lost.

  • copy this sheets (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1dKyEvXzjnGz0_SsR7xGn-c5meqkApVwBUEkcyEGcrx4/edit?usp=sharing) it will calculate the minimum vblank time for memory to downclock. use these setting in cru (https://www.monitortests.com/forum/Thread-Custom-Resolution-Utility-CRU). keep in mind that in some resolution/refresh rate the given vblank time will exceed the maximum pixel clock of the monitor/cable and will not work. you could try setting the timing to "exact reduced" and then set a custom vblank time by switching to manual mode and keeping the same setting for other parameters. otherwise the only solution is to switch to a lower refresh rate when not needed. I recommend you 12noon's Display Changer II to quickly change refresh rate.
