No 144Hz option on lower resolution?
For workaround that, download and execute onetime CRU with p.e. WINE (wine CRU.exe): https://www.monitortests.com/forum/Thread-Custom-Resolution-Utility-CRU

Dell XPS 17 / Precision 5770/7770 4k screen?
You know you can create custom resolutions for your pc with https://www.monitortests.com/forum/Thread-Custom-Resolution-Utility-CRU or intel graphics command center. So yes it can run at that resolution but as for the text well its gonna be either chunky or anti aliased. You can adjust those things as well to your liking if it becomes a problem

The current GPU Driver Installer is 619 MB compressed and 1.53 GB extracted, can we please have a real customizable installation menu now?
Luckily I'm "used" to fiddling with custom settings, editing files, editing registry, 3rd party programs (RadeonMOD, RadeonSoftwareSlimmer, Nimez Drivers, HxD, ATOM Table Resize, ATI/AMD Pixel Clock Patcher, CRU, ... many others ... ), scripts, etc.. etc... someone may also say it is my job (Software/DevOp Eng.)... so I almost only install what I want/need...

RX 580 running with max VRAM clocks at idle, 1440p 165hz display
copy this sheets (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1dKyEvXzjnGz0_SsR7xGn-c5meqkApVwBUEkcyEGcrx4/edit?usp=sharing) it will calculate the minimum vblank time for memory to downclock. use these setting in cru (https://www.monitortests.com/forum/Thread-Custom-Resolution-Utility-CRU). keep in mind that in some resolution/refresh rate the given vblank time will exceed the maximum pixel clock of the monitor/cable and will not work. you could try setting the timing to "exact reduced" and then set a custom vblank time by switching to manual mode and keeping the same setting for other parameters. otherwise the only solution is to switch to a lower refresh rate when not needed. I recommend you 12noon's Display Changer II to quickly change refresh rate.

Why does the 6000 series consumes so much power during youtube playback?
Tried to describe how to fix it using CRU here: https://youtu.be/HopKkK0Ei40 - Long story short, increase blanking time via CRU for better downclocking & power consumption, higher cable bandwidth = better results.

Can't set 2560x1080 resolution on a company Lenovo laptop for a LG 29WL500-B monitor. A colleague has an older laptop with the same monitor, it works. Tried swapping hdmi cables, updated intel graphics and the command center, and installed monitor drivers from LGs website.

How to stretch resolution in AC4 Black Flag?
Not sure if it would work but you could try creating a new resolution with custom resolution utility (for example 800x480 if you want to drop to 480p) (https://www.monitortests.com/forum/Thread-Custom-Resolution-Utility-CRU) and check if it appears in game
