  • Not yet. They've been actively working on this issue for years. I'm using glfwWaitEventsTimeout in one of my projects to make sure all the events are handled within an acceptable time frame. It drops the CPU usage considerably, but it's still quite high if you're not making a game. Eventually I'll move away from the example back-ends and see if I can get it to work right myself, but that's currently flagged as an enhancement.
