A simple alternative to MS Notepad that doesnt automatically back up my notes. Using Windows 11.

Notepads is a good FOSS alternative to the default windows notepad. That said, stop storing your passwords in a text file. Consider using a password manager like Bitwarden and KeepassXC instead.

A plaintext file is actually less secure than a paper notebook. Seriously, use a password manager for passwords and other secrets which don't require an encrypted drive partition. I keep wine recipes, credit card numbers, legal documents, and more in KeePassXC databases; also passwords.
