  • I dont know how to install plugins onto my minecraft server. I downloaded the server software from minecraft.net. This is specifically for 1.19 server. How do I install plugins onto the server? More specifically, I want to be able to have bedrock crossplay for my server and I know its possible through plugins. I searched online and it told me to place the plugin in the plugins folder but theres no plugins folder. I dont know if this is absolutely stupid or not but I really want to know how to do it (if its possible that is)

  • Plugins require a different server software. The server software that u need is more than likely Paper. Paper is a fork of Spigot, which Spigot is the one that allows you to load plugins. Just take a download from their website (https://papermc.io), create a new folder for the server, and drag and drop it into the new folder. Then just write a batch or shell script for the jar, do as what u did with the vanilla jar, and once you are done, u have a plugins folder. Now what I'm assuming that the plugin u are looking for is Geyser, so take a download for their Jenkins CI server, and just drag and drop it into the plugins folder. Restart the server, follow the setup guides for Geyser, and that's it
