  • I use searx. There are plenty of community instances to choose from (check their privacy policy first though) and if you're knowledgeable enough you can host your own instance.

    I'm using whoogle(git repo) as my search engine.. I've used google for almost my entire life & switching to other service wasn't a comfort zone for me.. Google seems to fulfill my needs perfectly when i search something.. So whoogle was the best choice for me as it just grabs Google's search results without any tracking. & also the customizability is just a cherry on top.
