  A plugin for adding bidi support to markdown-it project. This plugin can help JS projects to add support for mixed RTL and LTR markdown document to parse into better readable HTML files.

  

I've been working with someone to define a standard for bidirectional Markdown, and we're planning to propose it to the CommonMark spec. You can check our progress here.

I was going to contribute to [comrak](https://github.com/kivikakk/comrak) the upstream project of snoomark (Reddit's Markdown renderer) to add bidirectional Markdown support, however, the spec isn't ready yet and a lot of things need to be clarified before considering using it in production.
