Do you not like Sway because it's a tiling WM? In that case I would recommend you to give Wayfire a look. It's based on the same mature library as Sway (wlroots) and it basically Compiz but on Wayland, so a stacking wm with all the fancy effects and stuff :D

Oh well in that case try dwl - dwm for Wayland :D Just note that it's still under heavy development, so things might not be as flushed out as in Sway at the moment
