    Plan 9 /dev/draw is simpler yet, somehow it was not reason against X11.

    Oh well in that case try dwl - dwm for Wayland :D Just note that it's still under heavy development, so things might not be as flushed out as in Sway at the moment
  • Fix sharpness after using --scale with xrandr
    if you are used to dwm's dynamic auto tiling you can try DWL, it's a somewhat newer project but it seems interesting.

    There are currently 2 very incomplete "suckless approaches" in C and zig. Dont expect them to get stable in the near future, since not even wlroots has reached v1.0.
