I have script running on an EC2 instance that checks my counnty's school bus outage website and sends me a text message if my son's bus is going to be late or is not running: https://github.com/shalst/aacps-bus-notifications
I have a Twitter bot that collects Wordle scores from Twitter and posts aggregated scores so I can see how me and my friends stack up: https://github.com/shalst/twitter_wordle_bot
I have a custom Discord bot for my small friends group's Discord server that does things like link all website articles to www.archive.is/ versions to get around paywalls. It does a bunch of other things (a lot just useless fun stuff between us), but it's used all the time: https://github.com/shalst/discord-librarian
Wait, what? I participate in a community on reddit that counts sequences. We have a directory to keep track of where we are in each sequence, and I got fed up with manually updating the directory, so I wrote a tool to automate it.
I built a Discord Bot that my wife and I use to log and graph our exercises. It was originally made for some friends on a server, but it’s grown a bit. Feel free to fork/contribute/invite it to your own server here: GitHub.
https://github.com/jkwill87/mnamer, a CLI utility to automate organizing media files.
I wanted to have the perfectly uniform music library but sometimes I was getting album as single files and not as song files, here is albumSplitter!
