  • So Arch is another distro that's not debian based, it's package manager is called pacman, and it's a distro not intended for inexperienced users. I mean, anyone who can read a manual can install Arch, but it's not as simple as a next, next, next because you are just given a command prompt to install it and that's all (pretty much like a DIY distro). But Arch devs and community made the ArchWiki which is one of the biggest Linux wiki out there and it gives general Linux knowledge, not only applicable to Arch but to any Linux distribution, so if you are in trouble there's no reason to not check there.
