Wrapping my head around COM in Rust

With all that said, I'm looking for some good representative examples, or "walkthroughs" if available, that could baby me through how to get from a IDL file to a working implementation. I've looked at com-rs and its basic usage docs, but it's a bit too terse for my purposes. In particular, it's not clear how I might deal with things like IDispatch/dispinterface or some of the various IDL attributes. Similarly, the windows crate doesn't seem to have much by way of examples that I can build off of (or if it does, I had trouble finding them).

I'm looking at windows-rs and finding what I think is a good relevant and representative example of how EventSys is implemented, which has several IDispatch interfaces. I think this gives me a good starting point, thanks for pointing me in this direction.
