  • com-rs

    **DEPRECATED** in favor of github.com/microsoft/windows-rs

  • With all that said, I'm looking for some good representative examples, or "walkthroughs" if available, that could baby me through how to get from a IDL file to a working implementation. I've looked at com-rs and its basic usage docs, but it's a bit too terse for my purposes. In particular, it's not clear how I might deal with things like IDispatch/dispinterface or some of the various IDL attributes. Similarly, the windows crate doesn't seem to have much by way of examples that I can build off of (or if it does, I had trouble finding them).

  • windows-rs

    Rust for Windows

  • I'm looking at windows-rs and finding what I think is a good relevant and representative example of how EventSys is implemented, which has several IDispatch interfaces. I think this gives me a good starting point, thanks for pointing me in this direction.
