I wish they would just fork Chromium. Mozilla can make all the changes they want without bearing the cost of maintaining a full browser. Firefox is essentially in maintenance mode right now and they keep dropping features. The lack of PWA support makes it dead. Everyday more websites get added to WebCompat that don't work on Firefox. There are many domains that outright block Firefox. I suspect Microsoft will eventually fork Chromium and Firefox will slowly fade away. Now is the time for them to make a bold decision.
