OSX-KVM
Run macOS on QEMU/KVM. With OpenCore + Monterey + Ventura + Sonoma support now! Only commercial (paid) support is available now to avoid spammy issues. No Mac system is required.
For the AMD reset bug I use this project on Github: vendor-reset
I was able to get laptop display output to work via i440fx (machine) + Kethen/edk2's OVMF (UEFI) + vbios_gvt_uefi.rom (romfile) + x-igd-gms=2 (2 * 32MB graphics memory). I think you might need to also use CPU host passthrough but I'm not sure.
Bonus: For macOS, I used OSX-KVM + CPU host passthrough + match the number of CPUs (sockets, cores, and threads) between the host and the guest + enable VirtualSMC.kext + enable VirtualSmc.efi + copied someone's DeviceProperties config who had the same iGPU.
Yes that is possible. You can even make it switch automatically, here is a guide for that: https://github.com/bryansteiner/gpu-passthrough-tutorial
