Yes, that's what I meant. I don't know about other options - I just started using jbms/beancount-import and it worked well for me (once I figured out the configuration, which does have a bit of a learning curve), and that's what I've stuck with.
It's not too bad, I guess, but it's definitely not as nice as the alternative. Before this started happening, I could just run the plaid-sync process download in the background.
I'll just add, I used to be "afraid" of PDF, but I'm actually coming to respect it. Poppler's pdftotext is suprisingly good at extracting the data from the PDFs I've been trying it with, and beancount fava has a pretty good UI for browsing documents - way better than going back to my bank's website to find one, for sure.
