Hi, i am looking fpr a tutoriap/recource/project to learn how to implement volumetric clouds in opengl/c++ but all resources i come accross are either using some huge framework and abstraction which i dont want to read through and some are complicated theoritical papers. I want it to be simple and also be generc. I intend to imppement it for my application https://github.com/Jaysmito101/TerraGen3D you can check if you want to know what i have till now. Can anyone tel of any succh recource?
I can't really recommend a tutorial, but my implementation of volumetric clouds (and aurora!) for /r/veloren is open source and written in GLSL: https://gitlab.com/veloren/veloren/-/blob/master/assets/voxygen/shaders/include/cloud/regular.glsl
