I tried a few but settled on reStream because of its additional ability to use v4l loopback and present the view as a webcam, which makes it easy to use in recording tools like OBS. Also found goMarkableStream decent to use but the webcam thing made reStream the winner of the two. Neither require any rm hacks, just a small server program that runs on the device, which is nice.

I need to try rmview; it looks like it works with the 2.9+ screen share function now, which should make it easy to work with. But again, webcam mode for reStream is awesome, which makes me not feel like bothering.

I just an awesome ad about reMarkable 2. Was just about to buy it when I realised that just for screen sharing (my main usecase) I need to pay 50% of the tablet cost in a yearly fee. INSTANTLY went from 100% buy to 0% buy. So stupid.
